Kent County Chapter Meeting (7:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Over 133 members attended the 9-12 Delaware Patriot Meeting at the Sussex County Chapter meeting in Millsboro on Thursday, April 19. Rich Collins, Positive Growth Alliance discussed several new attacks on our liberty.

SB 185 was introduced in the Delaware House that is a direct attack on the protections afforded political speech under the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution. SB 185 will have a direct impact on the 9-12 Delaware Patriots and other grassroots organizations.

SB 179 "New Regulations on Electrical Contractors"

These regulations will increase the cost of these services, increase the cost of goods and services and is another way of making Delaware unfriendly to small businesses.

In addition, an "emergency regulation" was put into law by DNREC on March 15, 2012, and is in force right now. The way they did it was a violation of state law and creates a huge new bureaucratic morass for landowners in Delaware.

He will talk about these and other issues and update us on other upcoming legislation that we need to know about. He will also discuss how we can lobby effectively to our legislatures.

Its not all bad! There have been successes over the past year and he will discuss those also.

Sussex County Chapter Meeting (7:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Video "Restoring America's Constitution," by Rick Green of www.wallbuilders.com. We will be showing the first 30 minutes of the video, followed by open discussion of the video. If the members like this, we can make it a regular showing, depending on future agendas. This will be shown also in KC at future meetings.

(This video is a clarion call to return to the core strength of America. Get ready for a rapid fire, crash course in the fundamental principles of the Constitution and a clear plan of action for preserving those principles for future generations.)
